SYNCHRONIZED SKATING:

Intro to Synchro: Synchronized skating, or "synchro," is a specialized discipline of skating involving groups of 8 or more skaters performing various group formations and maneuvers. Skaters in the Intro to Synchro program will learn basic synchro skills in a fun-filled group lesson. The program focuses on edge quality, power, controlled turns, and precise spacing so that a team of skaters can move together as one.

The program is skaters aged 14 and under who have completed badge 6 of CanSkate and are  working on Star 1 assessment (e.g. Freestyle and/or Skills). 

These classes teach foundational formations like circles, blocks, lines, wheels, and intersections. This program further enhances and develops skating skills taught in their STAR Skate private lessons, preparing skaters for potential synchro assessments or a participation in a future team.
