StarSkate

STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate, artistic and synchronized skating. Unique in Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner. 

Each skater is responsible for finding their own coach and establishing a training schedule with them prior to registering for the ice times. The list of CP Lakeshore Skating Club coaches is available on our website; www.lakeshoresc.com  under Coaches. The cost of this program includes ice time only. Coach fees are not included and must be paid directly to the chosen professional. Furthermore, the coach chosen by the skater must be certified with Skate Canada and have an agreement with CP Lakeshore Skating Club to teach at the Club. The coach you have hired will recommend the number of private lessons they can offer your skater each week. As a rule of thumb most coaches will recommend two private lessons per week. Please confirm the lesson booking time with your coach before you register.

A skater cannot substitute or replace the session in which one is registered for another one. One can skate in another session only if one buys a ‘buy on’.

The skater is responsible to ensure that a coach is present whenever a skater skates on their registered ice times.
